Mount Tanzawa is a mountain of 1,567 meters, situated at the border of Kanagawa, Kanagawa.

Overview

It is located between the south tower and the northwest heart, and in the northeast is a ridge that extends northward. The summit is smooth and has a house and a large rest space and is surrounded by the Buna Forest. The trees won't give you a 360 degree view, but you can hope for a Mount Fuji from near the top of the mountain.

It comes from the mountain name

The name Mount Tanzawa is said to come from the following. The word "sazawa" is derived from what is commonly called Korean's old language, and "tang" means a deep valley and "sawa" means a stream. (Mount Tanzawa) "Mount Tanzawa" refers to the mountains around what we now call the "Mount Tanzawa" in Tohoku, Japan. Now, Mount Tanzawa was once the border of three counties in the county and petal county and old Kyokoyi county, so it was locally called the Three Borders, the Three Zones. Among the coal-burners there is a theory that the mountain range around Mount Tanzawa was called Deep Mountain. During the Meiji era, the old army's land survey has set up first trigonometry points on this mountain and based their measurements. At that point, what was written on the map as "Mount Tanzawa" reaches right now.

- Plantation

From the top of the Mount Tanzawa, the main line is the cold - leaf forest with the abundance of Buna as a dominant species. There are specific plant populations on the top of the mountain, such as the Omimijiga-Buna colony and the Fudizazami forest, and the Forest Office has designated this mountain forest as "Mount Tanzawa Reservation Forests." The line below the top is easily affected by strong winds and is spread by wind fields where low trees are hard to grow. In recent years, the Mount Tanzawa's main line has reported the decline of the bana, the loss of trees, and the decline of forest vegetation. These are attributed to the complex factors such as elation of elk, air pollution, bumblebee eating, and so on. Mount Tanzawa is one of the leading points of the zXQ018X survey of forest decay.
